Acrylic and timber veneer on board with wax finish | 13 x 5 x 10.5cm |
This painting draws on the houses I grew up in and the domestic structures and light that shaped how those spaces felt. Hints of figures or vases sit within warm timber tones, alongside fragments I only partly understood at the time, like adult conversations, late‑afternoon laughter and neighbours mowing in the background. The work is built through layers of paint, removal and reworking, where forms shift in and out as part of the material process and the way memory settles into place.
