Jenny Gill Schirmer is an emerging artist based on the North Coast of Northern NSW, working across painting, assemblage, sculpture, ceramics, and installation.

She has held solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions across Northern NSW and surrounding regions, including Lone Goat Gallery, Northern Rivers Community Gallery and Tweed Regional Gallery. Jenny received the Byron School of Art/ NRCG Graduate Award in 2021, was a finalist in the Lethbridge Small Scale Art Award 2026 and the Byron Arts Magazine Art Prize in 2023.

Jenny’s work brings painting and assemblage together through layered objects, wood and found materials, building quiet connections between shelter, structure, domestic space and the histories materials carry.
